GRAPE VARIETY:  100% Sangiovese

VINTAGE:
The year started with a fairly mild winter and infrequent, not very substantial rainfall. Despite the fairly rainless spring, the vines sprouted about 7-10 days earlier than normal, and growth was somewhat uneven but very composed, without vegetative explosions due to the heat of spring, a sign of great basal soil balance. From mid-May the temperatures rose above average until they reached temperatures considered summer by June, veraison began on August 18, a week early, the same time we started. At the end of August, we
saw the first thunderstorms, which really re-established the situation, allowing the plants to ripen their bunches. The quality recorded was very high, very healthy bunches without any
sort of mould or disease. Very good must concentration.

TASTING NOTES:
Fresh and vibrant, red berry aromas with a hint of citrus and spices on the finish. Harmonious and savory, it is a balanced, gastronomic, and versatile wine.
