Grosses Gewächs (German equivalent “Great Growth”) The GG wines represent the great potential of our dry Mosel Rieslings from Grosse Lage (Grand Cru) vineyards. All of our spontaneously-fermented Grosses Gewächs wines are given a twelve-month maturing period on the lees in old oak barrels (3000l and 1000l) before bottling. This ensures that the wine has an extra dose of elegance and structure for a long life.

Highly delicate and fine in its multilayered, fruity, floral and crunchy/flinty bouquet that reveals very fine slate aromas and even salty notes. Silky textured, lush and generous yet highly finessed, this is an intense yet subtle, pure and minerally fresh Riesling from one of the Mosel’s finest vineyards. The finish is long, fresh, piquant and sustainably structured as well as salty.
