BenRiach 22YO Albariza Single Malt 700ml

BenRiach 22 Year Old Albariza, RICH, is part of our PEATED range. Originally matured in AMERICAN OAK casks, the whisky is then finished in PEDRO XIMINEZ SHERRY casks. The name ‘Albariza’ is derived from the typical white soil used for growing grapes in the production of sherry in the Andalucia region of Southern Spain. Bottled at natural colour and non-chill filtered.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE: Warm, honeyed peat smoke holds gentle touches of garden mint infused with sweet dates and chocolate fondant.

PALATE: A crisp sherried sweetness combined with dark chocolate, Victoria plums and rum-soaked raisins, all surrounded by an earthy, campfire smoke.

Alc: 46%
