This exceptional whisky was created using the special 'quadruple ageing' process pioneered by our phenomenal Master Blender, Stephanie MacLeod, who has been awarded the title of MASTER BLENDER OF THE YEAR by the IWC for the fourth year running!

Dewar's has pioneered the 'double ageing' process, with all the blends in the range undergoing a secondary resting in oak casks to marry the flavours and bring extra smoothness to the blend. This 32-year-old release has been finished in Pedro Ximenez casks, giving the whisky “rich, ripe treacle notes with a hint of smokiness and a silky smooth finish”.

It is an amazing dram, it recently won the ‘Whisky of the Year at the IWC Awards! The 32 goes through our unique 4-stage ageing process, created by our Master Blender, Stephanie Macleod, and is finished in first-fill Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. I doubt you would find another whisky that is as warming when you take your first sip, it’s rich with caramel, golden syrup, raisins and dates. It has a lovely soft smoky edge to it too, it’s like the smoke released when chestnuts are roasting on an open fire.
