It is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon that is an excellent example of Bourbon made from a sour mash. Black Label has been aged for about 12 years and made to a traditional family recipe that hasn't changed in years.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Reminiscent of walking along the edge of the woods where flowers and honeysuckle are growing at the base of pine trees.
Palate: An oily caramel carrying notes of oak and a peppery finish.
Alc: 43%
