Kentucky Owl Kentucky Straight Bourbon Batch 9 700ml

Released in October 2019, Batch 9 of Kentucky Owl Kentucky Straight Bourbon is made from a blend of bourbons using four different mash bills. These include a 15 year-old, 2 14 year-olds, a 12 year-old, a 7 year-old, and a 6 year-old. The bourbon is bottled at barrel proof of 127.6, the highest released from the brand to date.

Notes of apple, white grape, cinnamon roll, maple candy, vanilla and rick oak.

The taste is of honey, honeysuckle, tea, citrus, caramel and has a pepper spice finish.

Batch #9 has a great complex sweetness of fruit and creamy notes across the front palate, then crawls back to some more significant oak notes in the middle, before the spice of the finish spreads across the back of the palate.
