Château Le Gay is one of Pomerol’s historic estates, known for producing rich, opulent wines from prime clay and gravel soils. The 2025 vintage is a powerful yet refined expression of the estate, combining concentration, texture, and the distinctive elegance that defines top Pomerol.
The nose is intense and expressive, revealing black cherry, plum, blackberry, violet, truffle, dark chocolate, licorice, and subtle spice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and richly textured, with velvety tannins, impressive concentration, and a deep core of ripe dark fruit. Freshness and minerality provide balance, leading to a long, layered, and persistent finish.
