Château Meyney is one of the most respected non-classified estates in Saint-Estèphe, often regarded as one of the appellation’s best value wines. Situated on a prime gravel ridge overlooking the Gironde estuary, the estate consistently produces wines with depth, structure, and impressive ageing potential. The 2025 vintage is another strong performance, combining power with increasing refinement.
The nose offers aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, plum, cedar, graphite, tobacco leaf, and subtle spice. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied with ripe tannins, fresh acidity, and a concentrated core of dark fruit. The structure is firm and classic Saint-Estèphe, yet polished and well-balanced, leading to a long, savoury, mineral-driven finish.
