Roubine Cru Classe Premium Rose 2024 750ml - France

This is a glorious 82 hectare property sitting in its own bowl right in the heart of Provence near the pretty town of Lorgues. It has been under the ownership of the dynamic Valérie Rousselle since 1994. This delicious fine and delicate Côtes de Provence Rosé is made mainly from the local Provençal grape variety Tibouren, together with some Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Mourvedre. The grapes are harvested at night and taken to their state of the art modern winery where the fermentation and maturation takes place in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes:

Beautifully pale, luminous salmon-pink rosé that captures the elegance of Provence. The nose opens with delicate aromas of fresh peach, pear and pink grapefruit, layered with subtle notes of wild strawberry, red currant and a hint of white blossom. On the palate, it is dry, crisp and refreshing, showing bright red berry fruit and citrus zest balanced by lively acidity and a refined mineral edge. Light to medium-bodied with excellent purity and balance, the finish is clean, vibrant and gently mouth-watering, making it a perfect summer rosé for seafood, grilled fish, salads or simply enjoyed chilled on its own.
