Corralejo Anejo Tequila has been aged for 12 months in new American oak barrels, perfectly charred inside to give the Anejo Tequila a sweet and gentle smoky flavour. Corralejo Anejo Tequila is a perfect example of the skills of master tequileros, pairing beautifully with spicy foods and smooth desserts.

Tasting Note

Concentrated, intense aromas include lead pencil, steamed asparagus and rubber eraser; another seven minutes sees the raw aroma transform into a bouquet that features scents of palm oil, jalapeño, oak resin and stone/granite/mineral. Palate entry offers subtle, semisweet tastes of toffee and egg cream; by midpalate, the taste includes vanilla, cocoa, margarine, peppercorn and honey. Ends in sweet, creamy tastes that highlight the toffee.
