Domaine Meo Camuzet Fixin 2022 750ml
Domaine Meo Camuzet Fixin 750ml
One of the more recognizable and respected labels in Burgundy, Meo-Camuzet was long in the practice of leasing most of their vineyards every year. In 1985, Jean-Nicolas Meo took the helm of the family estate and as the long-term leases came to an end, decided to vinify his own wines, calling upon the help of one Henri Jayer. Jean-Nicolas still directs the winemaking, following Jayer's principles to this day with an impressive array of vineyards, including six Grand Crus.
Winemaker Notes
🍷 The Fixin from Domaine Méo-Camuzet reveals its character through gentle vinification and matures in high-quality oak barrels, which gives it its elegant depth.
Two characteristics dominate this wine: it is extremely soft and extremely easy-drinking. It's less exuberant on the nose than the Marsannay, but more velvety on the palate, silkier and, believe it or not, very long. Overall, it has a lot of charm, and has won the hearts of numerous wine-lovers, including the most demanding.
Alc: 13%
