François Carillon Puligny-Montrachet 2020 is a beautifully refined white Burgundy from one of Puligny-Montrachet's respected family domaines. Produced from 100% Chardonnay, it captures the elegance, precision and mineral character for which this celebrated Côte de Beaune appellation is renowned.

The fruit is sourced from approximately four hectares spread across several Puligny-Montrachet lieux-dits, including Derrière la Velle, Reuchaux, Corvée, Levrons, Aubues, Tremblots, Les Noyer Bret and Les Rousselles.

The 2020 vintage shows a fresh and precise aromatic profile, with white peach, ripe pear, apple and citrus complemented by subtle floral, anise and lightly toasted notes.

On the palate, the wine is elegant and beautifully textured. Fresh acidity provides excellent tension and definition, while ripe orchard fruit and citrus flavours add depth and generosity. Subtle mineral notes run through the wine, leading to a long, clean and refreshing finish.

Complex, precise and exceptionally well balanced, this is an excellent expression of village-level Puligny-Montrachet with both immediate appeal and the structure to develop further in bottle.
