The GlenDronach is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, creating their finest richly sherried single malts for nearly 200 years. A past rich with charismatic custodians, challenging setbacks and triumph through dedication, The GlenDronach was an early pioneer of sherry cask maturation and we are immensely proud of their distillery’s history.

This expression is presented as a natural cask strength, as was the customer before the turn of the 20th century. Add a drop or two of water to reveal a cornucopia of flavour. Such is the reward of their tenth batch of the GlenDronach Cask Strength, a richly sherries Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisy matured in the finest Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks. 

This cask strength (Batch #10) whisky has a chestnut bronze colour. Mocha, apricot and baked orange chocolate cake aromas blend with roasted almond, walnut and raisin on a base of aromatic toasted oak. The palate has flavours of richly spiced fruitcake with nectarine, dark cherry and honeyed sultana. Lingering ripe apricot through the finish layered with ginger jam and indulgent caramelised date.
