An 11-year-old Bunnahabhain bottled as part of Gordon & MacPhail's Discovery range, the intention of which is to help people identify and navigate what G&M considers three central pillars of Scotch whisky tasting: sherry maturation, bourbon maturation and smokiness. This bottle sits firmly in the 'sherried' camp, with plenty of stewed fruit, vanilla fudge and lingering spice.
