Kavalan Native Species 'Mikado Pheasant' Classic Single Malt 700ml+2*50ml

Kavalan Classic Single malt is created using the tropical fruity spirit of Kavalan and marrying this with ex-Bourbon barrels to create a classic whisky which is fresh and clean, the spirit is rich with silky smoothness and hints of tropical fruits, mango in particular.

This is a limited-release gift set celebrating the native species of Taiwan. The packaging and bottle label is graced with The Mikado Pheasant, or “Emperor’s Pheasant. The Mikado Pheasant, or “Emperor’s Pheasant,” has a splendid, royal blue plumage and is considered a national symbol. It is accompanied by the Taiwan Barbet and the Tree Peony, symbolising wealth.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Refreshing floral notes, tropical fruits, honey sweetness and some orchard fruits with coconut shards and milk chocolate.

Palate: Tropical fruits of mango, coconut and guava with spicy oak.

Finish: Medium with tropical fruits and balanced oak.

This limited-release gift set includes a 50ml sample of this release as well as a 50ml sample of Kavalan's 'Distillery Select No.1' single malt whisky.
