KI NO BAI Plum & Berry Liqueur 700ml

KI NO BAI Kyoto Plum & Berry Liqueur is a distinctive Japanese fruit liqueur from The Kyoto Distillery, the producer behind KI NO BI Kyoto Dry Gin. Inspired by the meeting of traditional British sloe gin and Japanese umeshu, it replaces sloe berries with Japanese ume plums and Hokkaido-grown haskap berries.  

Perfectly ripe Kyoto-grown plums are macerated for several months in a specially adapted version of KI NO BI gin. Haskap berries are then introduced, creating its striking ruby-red colour and distinctive balance of fruit, acidity and botanical complexity. 

The nose reveals blackcurrant, cherry and ripe plum, while the palate is silky and complex with almond, pine, tart berry and plum notes. Sweetness and acidity remain beautifully balanced through a fresh, medium-length finish.
