As one of the largest producers in Australia and the world, with numerous awards and most prominently the McGuigan brand, has won the 'International Winemaker of the Year award at IWSC London'.
The majority of the fruit for this wine was sourced from premium vineyards within New South Wales. The continental climate ensured a hot growing season resulting in long sunny days and noticeably cooler nights. The combination of these conditions allowed this vintage to develop into an optimal vintage, delivering wines of intense fruit depth and natural acidity.
On the nose there are aromas of black cherries and blueberries followed by herbal undertones. This Cabernet Sauvignon is well rounded with a luscious palate of upfront dark fruit with integrated cedar oak. Fine velvety tannins ensure a balanced and long-lasting finish.
