This cuvée is elaborated from a blend of Chardonnay Grand Crus (50%) offering a floral touch, and from 45% of Pinots Noirs for the fruity character, and then 5% of Pinot Meuniers for the roundness.

The nose is fresh and delicate, with distinctive aromas of white fruit and flowers. On the palate, this is an exceptional combination of freshness and finesse.

Six years of ageing in Perrier-Jouet’s cellars together with a low dosage confer to this cuvée a marvellous harmony.

Cuvée Belle Epoque 2013 pairs with noble ingredients : king prawns with creamy polenta, sole meunière or Comté cheese.

This great champagne of the purest classicism is presented in its elegant gift case designed by Mischer Traxler, a poetic and mindful perspective on the terroir of Maison Perrier-Jouët and its most essential quality: biodiversity.

THE VINTAGE

While every vintage of Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque naturally expresses the characteristics of its particular year, the personality of this iconic cuvée is clearly defined: delicacy, harmony and elegance combine to captivate the senses, with its bright gold colour and subtle sparkle an inviting prelude to rich nuances of white flowers and white-fleshed fruit, rounded out by delicious notes of honey. A long, expansive finish testifies to the rare quality of this exceptional champagne.
