The Plantation Rum Gran Anejo is a blend of various rums from Guatemala aged between 3 and 4 years and matured in bourbon casks in the Caribbean, then finished in old French oak barrels at the Bonbonnet château.
Its colour is golden.
On the nose, the American oak barrel is felt through notes of vanilla and coconut. Subtle aromas of liquorice and wood complete the profile, which is simple yet complete and delicious.
On the palate, the attack is soft, but the balance with the alcohol is quickly created. The aromas of vanilla, liquorice and that pleasant woodiness are present.
The finish is moderately long and it is the vanilla and wood that remain.
