Royal Brackla was the very first Scottish distillery to receive Royal Status when in 1833, it was bestowed upon them by King William IV. For the Royal Brackla, Oloroso casks have been used for a luxurious, regal feel.
Tasting Note:
▪Nose: Strong sherry, malt, oak, light alcohol burn
▪Taste: Dry sherry, sweet vanilla, almond, spice; specifically distinct ground black pepper notes, lightly oily mouth feel
▪Finish: Strong pepper notes, fruit and honey aftertaste, very light burn
