Royal Lochnagar 12YO Single Malt 700ml

Royal Lochnagar 12 Year Old is an elegant Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky produced at the historic Royal Lochnagar Distillery, close to Balmoral in the Scottish Highlands. The distillery received its royal warrant following a visit by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1848, giving Royal Lochnagar its distinctive royal heritage.

Matured for 12 years, this is a refined, approachable Highland malt with a medium body and smooth texture. Rather than heavy peat or intense sherry, Royal Lochnagar focuses on delicate fruit, gentle sweetness and polished oak.

The nose shows light toffee, fresh wood and subtle fruit, developing hints of lychee and brown sugar. On the palate it is smooth and gently sweet, with orchard fruit, malt, toffee and soft oak. The finish becomes drier, with lingering sandalwood and a well-balanced touch of spice. These notes align with the distillery's official tasting profile.
