Valli Waitaki Vineyard Pinot Gris 2025 is a distinctive, bone-dry Pinot Gris from the Waitaki Valley, North Otago, showcasing the cool maritime climate and limestone-rich soils that define this small and exciting New Zealand wine region. Valli's Waitaki vineyard sits on limestone-based soils spread through river gravels, conditions that contribute strongly to the wine's mineral, precise character.  

Pale gold in colour, the 2025 opens with lemon zest, lime, nashi pear, sweet basil and a subtle sea-salt character. The palate is bright and layered, combining tangy citrus, crunchy pear and ripe green apple with a finely textured mouthfeel and steely acidity. Despite its intensity, the wine remains elegant and beautifully focused, finishing dry, fresh and mineral.
