Vecchia Romagna Etichetta Nera Brandy 700ml - Italy

It was 1820 when the Distilleria Giovanni Buton was founded in Bologna, from an idea of the Buton family, already producers of Cognac in the French area of Charent. The grape variety chosen for the production of Brandy was immediately Trebbiano Bianco and, after numerous attempts, in 1939 "Vecchia Romagna", one of our country's historic distillates, was born, a crucial brand, presented to the public in the unmistakable triangular bottle that still distinguishes it today.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: It has an intense amber colour with luminous coppery reflections.

Aroma: The nose has dark sensations of blackberry and plum jam, along with hints of black pepper, coffee and liquorice, on a background of mint and dark chocolate.

Flavour: In the mouth it is very intense, rough and powerful, softened by fruity returns and softened by the embrace of alcohol, towards a long final persistence full of returns of leather and tobacco.
