Made from a blend of Hawke’s Bay Merlot and Cabernet grapes and aged for 12 months in oak. This classic Bordeaux style has become something of a speciality at Villa Maria.

A medium-bodied, smooth, rich and supple style red full of dark berry and plum flavours. It’s all about the juicy, fruit-driven goodness of Merlot with a good Cabernet backbone.
