Ron Zacapa Centenario XO Rum 750ml

Ron Zacapa Centenario XO is the prestige expression of Zacapa’s Guatemalan rum range. Crafted from virgin sugar cane honey rather than conventional molasses, it is produced under the direction of Master Blender Lorena Vásquez and matured using Zacapa’s Sistema Solera process.

The blend incorporates rums aged between 10 and 25 years, matured at Zacapa’s famous “House Above the Clouds”, approximately 2,300 metres above sea level in the Guatemalan highlands. The maturation journey uses casks that previously held American whiskey, sherry and Pedro Ximénez wines, before the XO receives an additional finish in French oak cognac casks.

Rich and exceptionally smooth, the nose offers dark cherry, dried fruit, sweet spice, chocolate and toasted oak. The palate develops layers of caramel, roasted nuts, orange, dates, vanilla and cocoa, complemented by mature oak and spice. The finish is exceptionally long and elegant, with lingering dark chocolate, dried fruit and sweet oak.
