The Macallan A Night On Earth is an annual limited edition series created to celebrate the turning of the new year, one of the most universal and joyful moments shared across the globe. Each release in the series is a collaboration with a different artist, capturing the spirit of celebration, connection and new beginnings through both the whisky and its packaging.
"The Journey" is the third release in the series and is widely regarded as one of the most complex and rewarding expressions yet. Created in partnership with Chinese mixed media artist Nini Sum, its intricate, multi-layered packaging depicts the emotions and experiences of New Year's Eve: the anticipation, the fireworks and the warmth of being surrounded by the people you love.

The Macallan A Night On Earth "The Journey" is distilled at The Macallan's Speyside distillery and matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon casks and sherry seasoned oak casks, giving a creamier, livelier character than many of The Macallan's other releases.
Colour: Warm amber gold
Nose: Toasted oak, creamy rice pudding and coconut, fresh citrus, vanilla and oat biscuits
Palate: Lively lemon and lime citrus with sweet vanilla sponge and toasted coconut, building in complexity with every sip
Finish: Sweet toasted oak and vanilla, long and warming
