One of Wirra Wirraâs most iconic wines, Church Block was first produced in 1972 and has become a classic McLaren Vale red blend.
The 2022 vintage combines 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Shiraz and 7% Merlot, delivering a rich yet beautifully balanced expression of McLaren Vale.
Aromas of blackberry, cassis, plum and black cherry are layered with wild herbs, five spice and dark chocolate. The palate is dense and plush, with generous ripe dark fruit supported by finely structured tannins and well-integrated oak.
Powerful enough to accompany roasted and grilled meats, yet polished and approachable enough to enjoy on its own.
