About Bowmore

Bowmore was founded in 1779 on the shores of Loch Indaal and is Islay's oldest licensed distillery. It still malts barley on its own traditional floor maltings and matures whisky in its famous No.1 Vaults, below sea level by the shore.

The Bowmore Range

Bowmore 12 balances gentle peat smoke with honey and citrus. The 15 Year Old adds sherry cask richness, the 18 Year Old is deep and elegant, and the Aston Martin editions are made in partnership with the British car maker. Older vintages are rare, complex releases.
