About Bruichladdich

Bruichladdich was founded in 1881 on the shores of Loch Indaal on Islay and was revived in 2001 by a team of independent whisky makers. It focuses on barley provenance and makes three styles: unpeated Bruichladdich, heavily peated Port Charlotte and super heavily peated Octomore.

The Bruichladdich Range

The Classic Laddie is unpeated, floral and fruity, showing a different side of Islay. Port Charlotte 10 is heavily peated yet elegant, and Octomore is among the most heavily peated whiskies in the world, released in numbered editions. Islay Barley bottlings are made from barley grown on the island.
