Our Nga Waka Chardonnay is 100% barrel fermented in tight-grain French oak barriques, 20% of which are new. The wine spends 10 months in barrel and is lees-stirred monthly.
A rich, complex Martinborough Chardonnay showing intense ripe stone fruit flavours underpinned by subtle spicy oak, malolactic and barrel fermentation characters, enhanced by a silky palate texture and a elegant lingering finish.
"It's wonderfully fruited and delightfully complex with apricot, vanillin oak, roasted hazelnut and brioche characters.
