Tasting Notes

Nose: Redcurrant and cherry aromas mingle with rosehip, thyme and tarragon.

Palate: Bright red fruit is framed by fine-grained tannins and lively acidity. A gently chalky texture and subtle saline character add definition to the lingering, savoury finish.

Vineyard

Single-vineyard fruit comes from the Clos Ostler monopole in New Zealand’s Waitaki Valley. The wine draws on five Pinot Noir clones: 115, 667, 777, UCD6 and Abel.
