About Gonzalez Byass
Gonzalez Byass was founded in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, in 1835 by Manuel Maria Gonzalez. Its Tio Pepe Fino, named after his uncle Jose, became the world's best-selling sherry, and the family-owned bodega remains one of the great names of Jerez.
The Gonzalez Byass Range
Tio Pepe is a bone-dry, crisp Fino aged under flor, En Rama is bottled with minimal filtration, and Las Palmas are rare aged Finos and Amontillados. The VORS range (Very Old Rare Sherry, over 30 years old) includes Noe Pedro Ximenez, Apostoles Palo Cortado and Matusalem Oloroso, while La Copa is the bodega's sherry-cask vermouth.
