This single grain Scotch whisky from Strathclyde joins the Infrequent Flyers collection from independent bottler Alistair Walker. The whisky spent its full nine years maturing between 2014 and 2024 in a single red wine hogshead, yielding a total outturn of 307 bottles.

Nose: There is no mistaking that sweet, solventy, aldehydic burst of toasted coconut, Battenberg cake and floral, perfumy notes. Welcome to single grain central!

Taste: Vibrant and full of vigour. Lashings of almonds, marzipan and cherry Bakewells from the grain, complemented by some gorgeous flavours drawn from the red wine cask - raisins, apricots and cranberries. There's a little pepper, and oodles of Demerara sugar.
