About Maker's Mark
Maker's Mark is made in Loretto, Kentucky, and was first bottled in 1958 by the Samuels family. It is a wheated bourbon, using soft red winter wheat instead of rye for a smoother, sweeter taste, and every bottle is hand-dipped in its signature red wax.
The Maker's Mark Range
Maker's Mark is smooth and sweet with caramel, vanilla and soft wheat. Maker's 46 is finished with seared French oak staves for extra spice and depth, and Maker's Mark 101 is bottled at a higher proof for a bolder, richer bourbon.
