Bushmills 12 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey is a rich and exceptionally smooth triple-distilled Irish single malt, crafted from 100% malted barley. It is matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry casks and bourbon barrels, before receiving a finishing period in Marsala wine casks from Sicily. The Marsala influence adds an extra layer of sweet dried fruit, spice and honeyed richness to Bushmills' famously approachable style. 

The nose is full and inviting with dried fruits, sweet candied apple and warming spice. On the palate, rich honey and caramelised brown sugar combine with spiced fruit and a distinctive nutty malt character. The finish is long and slightly dry, with lingering notes of warming ginger, spiced pear and toasted nuts.  

An excellent step up from younger Irish single malts, Bushmills 12 Year Old can be enjoyed neat or with a small drop of water, and pairs particularly well with dark chocolate, dried fruit and nuts.
