Leonardo Da Vinci Chianti Fiasco 2024 750ml - Italy

Leonardo Da Vinci Chianti Fiasco is a classic Tuscan red presented in the traditional straw-covered Fiasco bottle, an instantly recognisable symbol of Chianti and Italian wine culture.

Produced in the hills around Vinci and neighbouring areas of Tuscany, the wine is made predominantly from 85% Sangiovese, blended with 10% Merlot and 5% other red grapes.

Deep purple-red in colour, it offers inviting aromas of ripe cherry and red fruit, followed by subtle spicy notes of black pepper. The palate is fresh and well balanced, with smooth tannins, good structure and a pleasantly persistent finish.

The traditional Fiasco presentation makes this an attractive choice for the dinner table as well as a classic everyday Italian red. Pair with antipasti, cured meats, cheeses, pasta with meat sauces, pizza or white meats.

Now available in a FIASCO - which is a traditional Italian style of bottle. Usually with a round body and bottom, partially or completely covered with a straw basket.
