Deep sienna brown with an olive hue, it opens with lifted aromas of honey, ripe raisins, toffee and fine old brandy spirit. The palate is intensely rich and velvety, delivering layers of honeyed raisins, caramel, chocolate and warming spice, followed by notes of candied orange peel and marmalade. Its concentrated sweetness is balanced by savoury maturity and a clean, exceptionally long finish.
