Valli ‘Levi’ Pisa Vineyard Pinot Noir 2022 is a special, limited-production Central Otago Pinot Noir sourced from the Highgrange Vineyard, an elevated site on Mt Pisa. This charitable release celebrates Levi, New Zealand’s first bowel cancer medical detection dog, with proceeds from the wine supporting K9 Medical Detection (K9MD) in Otago. Valli describes Pisa as an exciting emerging sub-region and the Highgrange site as an exceptional elevated vineyard. 

The wine offers an expressive bouquet of plum, baked cherry and Chinese five spice. The palate is silky, rich and generous, with layers of ripe red fruit and spice framed by abundant fine tannins and bright acidity. Despite its immediate appeal, Valli considers it structured enough to develop for 15+ years.
