Glen Garioch 'Signatory' Small Batch 2011 48.2% 700ml

Distilled at Glen Garioch in 2011, this single malt spent 12 years maturing in a host of first-fill bourbon barrels. The whisky was independently bottled by Signatory to join its Small Batch Edition collection, without added colour or chill filtration.

Nose: Freshly cut oranges, honey sweetness, fragrant fresh barley notes, wafts of an old sweeties shop and hints of tropical fruits, coconut and vanilla.

Palate: Terrys’ Chocolate Orange, toasted almonds and creamy vanilla fudge, hints of coconut.

Finish: Long and rich, sweet malted barley, Manuka honey, ripe oranges and dark chocolate, lingering

Alc: 48.2%
