Redbreast 12 Year Old is an iconic Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey, renowned for its rich, full-bodied character, silky texture and exceptional balance of fruit, spice and sherry influence.
Crafted from a traditional combination of malted and unmalted barley, Redbreast 12 is triple distilled in copper pot stills before being matured for 12 years in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. This classic maturation gives the whiskey its signature depth, richness and distinctive sherry character.
The nose is wonderfully complex, combining ripe fruit and warming spice with toasted oak. On the palate, it is rich and silky smooth, revealing layers of orchard fruit, dried fruit, sherry sweetness, gentle spice and toasted wood.
The finish is satisfyingly long and complex, with lingering fruit, spice and oak.
Rich enough for experienced Irish whiskey drinkers yet beautifully balanced and approachable, Redbreast 12 Year Old is widely regarded as a benchmark expression of traditional Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey.

As a fan of Scotch whisky, it’s nice to have a bottle of something different like this Irish redbreast single malt. A nice addition to the whisky cabinet, very different to that of any scotch whisky, but very nice at that.
