Tomatin Limited Edition Sauternes Casks Scotch Whisky 700ml

The French Collection showcases the distinct influence of various varieties of French wine and spirit casks. In March 2021, this Whisky was bottled. The whisky was distilled in 2008, and in July 2017, it was moved to a sauternes cask.

TASTING NOTE:
On the palate, the Sauternes Cask has a burst of peach and apricot, calmed by rich Manuka honey, and was distilled on September 19, 2008.
On the tongue, there's more sweet honey, as well as coconut and ginger.

The finish is delightfully sweet and young, with a syrupy mouthfeel reminiscent of the Sauternes wine that previously resided in the cask.
