Meet the 2025 release of Ardnamurchan The Midgie, a Highland single malt bringing together fruity sweetness, coastal salinity and gentle peat smoke. This limited release combines 50% bourbon barrels, 48% Port barriques and 2% sherry casks for a distinctive balance of freshness and richness.

On the nose, savoury notes mingle with caramelised pineapple, strawberry preserve, coconut and mint. The palate reveals pear, floral herbs, dried fruit and cocoa, with a touch of pepper and glowing embers. A long, dry finish carries soft smoke, redcurrant and a lingering salty sweetness.

Bottled at 48% ABV with natural colour and no chill filtration, The Midgie offers plenty of character for drinkers who enjoy fruit-forward whisky with a measured touch of peat.
