Cadenhead Glenallachie 17yo 700ml

Part of Cadenhead’s Original Collection February 2026 release, this 17 Year Old Glenallachie-Glenlivet is a mature Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky, distilled in 2008 and bottled at 46% ABV. The whisky was fully matured in refill sherry butts, allowing Glenallachie’s rich spirit character to combine with a restrained, mature sherry influence.

Rich, savoury and gently spiced, the nose opens with Medjool dates, mocha, nutmeg, walnut and pistachio, alongside heather and a touch of passion fruit. The palate develops layers of cinnamon, ginger, marzipan and butterscotch, complemented by the darker, malty character of pumpernickel bread.

The finish brings aniseed, brandied cherries, rye toast and dark chocolate, giving this whisky an appealing balance of dried fruit, spice, nuttiness and bittersweet richness. At 17 years old, it is a particularly attractive independent Glenallachie for drinkers who enjoy mature sherry-cask Speyside whisky.
