Cardhu 12 Year Old is a classic Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky, known for its exceptionally smooth, gentle and approachable character. Produced at one of Speysideâs historic distilleries, Cardhu 12YO showcases the distilleryâs signature combination of golden honey, delicate fruit and soft malt sweetnessÂ
The nose is inviting with pear drops, heather, honey and sweet nuts, followed by subtle malt cereal and gently spiced oak. On the palate it is silky and well balanced, initially sweet and fresh before developing a pleasantly dry character. A delicate trace of smoke appears on the lingering finish.Â
Its soft, medium-bodied style makes Cardhu 12YO an excellent introduction to Speyside single malt and an easy whisky to enjoy neat or over ice.
