Produced by Domaine Henri Boillot — one of Burgundy’s most respected family estates since 1885, famous for precise, pure, and terroir-driven Chardonnay — this is a monopole (100% owned vineyard) Premier Cru, one of the estate’s most iconic and sought-after wines. Located in Puligny-Montrachet, just above the Grand Cru sites, Clos de la Mouchère sits on deep limestone and clay soils, delivering exceptional minerality, structure, and elegance.
The 2024 vintage shines with bright, luminous pale gold. On the nose, it opens with exquisite aromas: white acacia and lime blossom, ripe mandarin, pink grapefruit, white peach, and subtle notes of pastry, toasted almond, and flinty wet-stone minerality — layered, complex, and intensely aromatic. On the palate, it is full-bodied, dense yet silky, with remarkable energy and tension. Rich stone fruit and citrus flavours unfold, supported by vibrant, crisp acidity and a powerful, stony mineral backbone that gives it great length and verticality. The finish is long, saline, and pure, with refined, lingering notes of citrus and mineral freshness.
Aged ~60% in new oak barrels (350L) and the rest in older oak, carefully balanced to enhance depth without masking the terroir or fruit — true to Henri Boillot’s style: powerful yet elegant, precise, and expressive.
ABV:13.5%
