Gladstone Black Axe is a bold and characterful Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, bringing together carefully selected malt whiskies from the Highlands and Islay regions of Scotland.

Made from 100% malted barley, Black Axe has a richer Islay influence, giving the whisky its distinctive combination of gentle peat smoke, warming spice and rich malt character.

The nose opens with malt, vanilla and toasted oak, followed by subtle smoky notes. On the palate, sweet caramel and rich malt are balanced by delicate peat smoke, heather and oak spice, leading to a warming, lightly smoky finish.

A smooth yet characterful Scotch whisky, Gladstone Black Axe is an excellent introduction to peated whisky while still offering plenty of flavour for experienced Scotch drinkers.
