Glendronach 21YO Highland Single Malt 700ml

The Glendronach 21 Year Old is the newly relaunched flagship of the distillery's ultra-premium range, following a 2024/2025 rebrand that retired the previous "Parliament" name in favour of a cleaner age-statement identity (the liquid itself is unchanged). Matured in oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks from Andalucía, Spain, and bottled at natural colour by master blender Rachel Barrie, it's an elegant, richly sherried Highland single malt.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Ripe autumn fruits, blackberries and red plums, lifted by a touch of candied orange.

Palate: Layers of fine sherry and bitter chocolate sauce unfold over nutmeg and ginger-baked Victoria plum pudding.

Finish: Full-bodied, long and lingering, with a gentle spiced warmth.

Pairs beautifully with dark chocolate — try alongside Hogarth's Chocolate Ecuador, Hacienda Victoria 85%.
