The GlenDronach Ode To The Valley is a fruit-forward Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky from GlenDronach’s Master’s Anthology collection. It is matured in a combination of Ruby Port casks from Portugal’s Douro Valley and GlenDronach’s signature sherry casks, creating a sweeter, berry-driven interpretation of the distillery’s traditional sherried style. 

Bottled at 46.2% ABV, Ode To The Valley opens with rich late-summer berries, milk chocolate, demerara sugar and glazed apricot. The palate develops layers of blackberry, roasted apple crumble, freshly baked gingerbread and sweet damson plum, balancing ripe fruit sweetness with warming spice.  

Compared with Ode To The Dark, which focuses on intense PX sherry richness, and Ode To The Embers, which introduces peat smoke, Ode To The Valley is the brighter, more fruit-driven member of the trio, with Port casks bringing pronounced red and dark berry character.
