Isle of Jura Tastival 2017 700ml
The Jura Tastival is held at the same time as Islay's famous Fèis Ìle. Each year they release an unusual bottling to ceelebrate the occasion and this year marks the first chosen by new distillery manager Graham Logan. The whisky was initially matured in first-fill American ex-bourbon barrels and then transferred into Graham’s Port Pipes from the beautiful Douro Valley.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose – Black Forest fruits, chewy liquorice, ripe plums and creamy white chocolate.
Palate – Orange zest, walnut cake, glazed pineapple and Crème de Cassis.
