Jameson Black Barrel is a richer and more complex expression of the classic Jameson style. This triple-distilled blended Irish whiskey combines small-batch grain whiskey with a higher proportion of traditional Irish pot still whiskey, matured in a combination of American oak, sherry casks and double-charred bourbon barrels.  

The additional charring of the barrels intensifies the whiskey’s rich, sweet character. Aromas of butterscotch, fudge and creamy toffee lead into a smooth palate filled with toasted nuts, vanilla and warming spice. The finish is rich and lingering, with toasted oak and vanilla providing the signature Black Barrel character.  

Fuller and more intense than Jameson Original while retaining Jameson’s trademark smoothness, Black Barrel is excellent served neat or over ice and is particularly well suited to classic whiskey cocktails such as an Old Fashioned or Whiskey Sour.
